Hilda attempts to summon up her darkness, but two more tentacles restrain her arms. One of Hilda's eyes opens up, and she witnesses Eliza, strolling towards her with confidence, her arms literally bare to the bone, bloody tentacles swirling around her. "Damned blood mage.if only-URGH!" She grunted as a bloody appendage snatched her by the neck, before lifting her up and roughly slamming her against the wall, cracking it in the process. She was already tired from her battle, and her near-depleted EXS can attest to that. Hilda attempts to push her pained body up, her arms trembling at the effort needed. She stabs her golden scythe into the floor, damaging the once pristine and now bloody pattern, and begins to walk towards the downed Paradox. On all fours, it scurries backwards and retreats into it's host's body, the smirking visage of Eliza forming out of the tissue and blood. Sekhmet lands on the ground, it's bony jaw forming into a crooked smile. Hilda slides against the colorful floor of the podium, grunting in pain as she skids to a stop and hits her head against the wall. Screams the skeletal parasite as one last strike from it's blockbuster knocks away the dual-colored In-Birth. So, despite Eliza being smarter and better at making plans and tactics mid-fight, the whole thing is kiiinda rigged in Hilda's favour from the start. Eliza has never shown anything that could help her do that. Everything from the body to the mind and soul has to be deleted from existence for an In-Birth to truly die. And I don't mean just obliterating their body. In-Births are described to be beings "without birth, who are simultaneously alive and dead at the same time." Everyone who uses Under Night In-Birth characters in Death Battle confirms that the only way to kill an In-Birth is to literally erase them from existence. The other thing that puts this fight in her favour is Hilda's In-Birth immortality. This should give Hilda a slight speed advantage. This is however rendered near-useless since Hilda can keep up with Seth, who is so fast he makes light stop in place when he moves in his Infinite Worth EXS, as well as Linne, who is even FASTER than Seth. Eliza should scale to Peacock's lightspeed lasers, meaning she has lightspeed reaction. Hilda however is a bloody moron, meaning she is bound to eventually make mistakes that will let Eliza get up close.Īs for who wins, it's Hilda, almost no question. Eliza used to be an army general before she betrayed and killed the Trinity, meaning she can use her battle tactics to get around Hilda's zoning and get up close. This problem can however be bypassed once we take in their intelligence. Eliza mostly focuses on rushing her opponent down at close range with her blood constructs, while Hilda's whole shtick is doing her best to keep her opponents the F away from her at all times. Hilda can then go on and roast Eliza's fashion sense, and we can do what Bond vs Wick did, and say Hilda somehow knows Eliza is a singer and insult her voice.Īnimation potential is a bit tricky due to their differences in fighting styles. They could both pull barbs and roast each other, Eliza calling Hilda a harlot, something Akatsuki already did, and pissing her off to no end. The dialogue is seamless with how arrogant and self-confident they are. And finally, both have a special title everyone referrs to them by (The Crimson Scourge and Paradox). Fortune, Cerebella, Filia and Squigly for Eliza, Merkava, Akatsuki, Chaos, Gordeau, Linne and Hyde for Hilda). Both of their arcade stories involve them going on a quest to retrieve a crimson object which resides in another character's body (The Life Gem and the Insulator), only to end with them merging with something (all the blood in Gehenna and the Abyss), and enslaving or slaughtering several members of the main cast (Ms. Both have a huge interest in the main protagonist and wish to retrieve the source of their powers for themselves (Filia with Samson, Hyde with the Insulator). Both of their fighting styles involve utilising a suspicious substance which they can mold into various shapes (Eliza's blood and Hilda's darkness). Both are often accompanied by two lackeys whom they genuinely care for, and which consist of a rough-looking brute who's always smiling (Albus and Gordeau), and a well-mannered henchman who wears glasses (Horace and Chaos). They are members of a villainous and influential organisation, but have different positions in the organisations (Hilda is the leader of Amnesia, while Eliza is a hired killer and entertainer for the Medici). Sexy villainesses of anime-esque fighting games who hide their true evil nature behind a facade of wealth and fame.
